Who I Am

I had the opportunity to experience life in various regions across Eastern Canada, with the majority of my upbringing taking place in the Maritimes. In 2002, I made the move to Fredericton where I was fortunate enough to meet my wife several years later. We are proud parents of two exceptional daughters, who bring us constant joy with their intellect, humour, and personalities. Our family resides on a picturesque property at the edge of the city, surrounded by a few acres of serenity.

Experience

I have the privilege to be the Head of Technical Operations at RB2B since October of 2023.

Starting at the beginning, my career began in the industry in 2007, starting as an entry-level professional at a small agency. Over the next decade, I honed my skills and grew professionally as a Senior Full Stack Developer and Project Manager at a renowned boutique digital agency in Fredericton. My time at there spanned more than eleven years, during which I made invaluable contributions to the company's success. However, I always strive for growth and new challenges, which led me to a role as the Manager of Implementation, Training, and Support at Kognitiv Spark, creators of mixed reality performance support tool, RemoteSpark.

Curriculum Vitae

Volunteering

Since 2018, I have been deeply committed to giving back to the community through my volunteer work with the Fredericton Youth Ringette Association and the Central Female Hockey Association. In these roles, I served as both an on-ice and bench assistant coach, providing guidance to young athletes as they developed their skills and passion for sport. I also served as the Director of Goaltender Development on the Board of Directors of the Central Female Hockey Association from 2021 to 2023, helping shape the future of the sport.

From 2023 to 2024, I was the Goaltending Coach and Assistant Coach for the CFHA U13AA Storm, and I held the role of Media Coordinator for Hockey New Brunswick on the NBFAAAHL Board of Directors, but I am no longer in those positions.

Currently, I remain on the board of the NBFAAAHL, where I am focused on growing the profile of female hockey in New Brunswick, a cause that is very important to me.

I am also proud to have co-founded Capital City Ringette in 2021, a spring development program that offers young athletes the chance to hone their skills and love for the sport. I’ve dedicated significant time to working with some of the region's most talented young female athletes, helping them build confidence and reach their full potential.

Writing

A few years ago, I made a conscious decision to embark on a personal challenge of writing "the novel that I've always wanted to write." This journey proved to be a transformative experience, filled with both excitement and humility. The process of crafting a narrative and bringing it to life on the page was incredibly fulfilling, and one that I will cherish for years to come.

Writing has since become a true passion of mine, and I am proud to have published several novels with more works in various stages of completion. This experience has taught me the importance of dedication and perseverance, and I am excited to continue to develop my craft and bring stories to life for others to enjoy.
